I'm currently using an Aspera feature-phone (AKA "Dumbphone") and have discovered a number of benefits:
- I'm reading more books at night (not succumbing to psychological tricks to keep me on websites)
- I'm writing more stuff
- I'm not being distracted by endless notifications
- I'm not spending tons of time trying to get the phone to work just right.
- Text messages are better thought out and less verbose thanks to the numeric keypad
- I actually feel less stressed
So what I'm trying to say is life really is simpler from my POV without the so-called smart of telecommunications technology.
Who'd have thunk it?
